Discoo Christmas Delivery Success

We saw this cartoon in Private Eye and couldn't resist posting it in the blog.

Discoo's delivery systems performed very well over the busy Christmas period....although we don't actually stock Myrrh - a resinous red brown material used in incense apparently.

Members Only Jackets - When you put it on something happens...

Exclusive to Discoo:
A cult classic from 70's US fashion label Members Only, this Jacket inspired the "Members Only" episode on The Sopranos.

The Jackets come in Brown, Black or Grey - so a match with any outfit should be child's play.

There's a list of features as long as your arm, including:
- a concealed zip fastening;
- chest pocket;
- two hip pockets;
- snap fastened belted neck for extra warmth; and
- strap details at shoulders.

Despite being a US label, you cannot buy Members Only Jackets over the pond. But US buyers don't pay VAT, delivery costs just $12 and takes less than a week.

Be warned - European sizes are less generous than US ones - so take a size larger than normal.

Imagine my delight late last week when a little parcel from Discoo.co.uk arrived on my work desk and instantly sorted out that age old dilemma of what to wear at the weekend.

In one fell swoop, the Lulu and Red "Marlena" top has injected life back into my wardrobe at that tricky borderline season time…. you know, warm enough for strapless tops and sun dresses during the day, but jeans and jackets still very much come out to play in the evenings.

Fantastic then that this 100% silk number fits flawlessly with my skinny jeans and cotton military style jacket (two seasons old and still fresh!) Even better that it picks up two of this year's hottest trends - floral and neon.

It fits like an absolute dream, effortlessly bridging the divide between pretty and sexy without being too much of either.

I teamed the overall outfit with my neon pink heels which perfectly picked out the ribbon detail at the back of the top, giving it a very modern edge.

I ventured into London's West End for some Saturday night cocktails in my ensemble - this outfit is perfect for bar hopping or a late dinner.

At Pacha the following weekend I combined the top with black city shorts and was photographed by both Don't Stay In and Tillate.com - a great outfit for the Dance Podium!

Apparently she was charming about Zoe's Arrogant Cat outfit and happily posed for this pic, which will be published on Sunday in Zoe's column.

David steps out in LA in a simple black coat

Thanks to our favourite footballing hero (and his fashion-conscious wife), Discoo can safely say that Black - and white - is Back.

Despite the less-than-perfect performance of the LA Galaxy team at the start of the season, things are looking up - David has finally scored and has been strutting his stuff around LA looking effortlessly suave as he works the designer casual look.

While certain male celebrities are forever splashing out on outrageous outfits to keep themselves looking young and hip, true trend setters such as David Beckham opt for something a little more understated.

David has always had a great sense of style (forgetting of course the unfortunate sarong scenario) and is able to set the trends for the male market. He proves here that a crisp white shirt and a decent black jacket teamed with good old denim are just as acceptable as they always were for a night out on the town.

This week we saw our favourite big-haired fashionista looking on top form at Chicago's Lollapalooza festival.

Amy sang her heart out in this cute, kitsch, check dress by Arrogant Cat available from Discoo.

Amy has been working hard trying to break America and friends say her mind and body simply can't take it.

The singer’s friends, family and fans have been worried sick about her drinking, drug-taking and strange body alterations.

Doctors have now advised Amy to cancel some upcoming shows and have a complete rest - which is bad news for us because as much as we like listening to her music, we absolutely love ogling her latest outfits.

The good news is that no matter what Amy’s personal situation is, her wardrobe needs no help. We wish Amy a speedy recovery and hope to see her back to her old self again soon.

Be warned - in this dress, you’ll want to dance the night away, so be careful not end up in a state of complete “exhaustion” yourself by the end of the night!

Big Brother’s most recent evictee Charley Uchea also appears not to have discovered Discoo’s range of breast enhancing, gravity-repelling Fashion Secrets.

Gobby Charley has been one of Big Brother’s bitchiest and most self-obsessed contenders yet; from her constant arguing and back-stabbing, her non-stop posing in the mirror and her fake eviction in a pair of pants, to her attention-seeking sulks and tantrums.

We will admit however, that without her the house is now a rather dull place - new housemates or no new housemates. And the girl did occasionally pull off some pretty sassy outfits.

Discoo hopes that having now left the house, Charley will stop using a belt to hold her breasts in place and gets hold of a pair of Liftits instead!

Alternatively, she might try Boostits (Full Cup / Half Cup), Supportits or a little bit of Hollywood fashion tape – any of which would come in very handy on her nights out, as she clings on to the nearest celeb in an attempt to grab the limelight.

By the looks of things Big Bro quitter and rival Chanelle was having similar problems. Now both girls are out, someone please let them in on the Secrets!

Former Spice Girl Victoria Beckham has packed up all her Jimmy Choos and is preparing to start her glamorous new life in sunny L.A.

As her new TV Show reveals, she wanted to go out ahead of her family, set up their new home and fly them over once everything was ready – apparently to keep it as stress-free for David and the kids as possible.

We, however, suspect it was more to do with getting time alone to shop!

The Beckhams are becoming increasingly close to new-found celebrity friends Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes, who hosted a star-studded welcoming party this week.

Attended by A-List guests including Jim Carey, Will Smith and Stevie Wonder, Victoria looked every bit the LA fashion queen.

Despite her faintly irritating catch phrases, such as "It's exhausting being fabulous" and "It's got to be all about me", we can't help but love Vic's sense of style.
